Hmmm. My access point is about 6' away, and delivers a strong signal. DHCP doesn't seem to work in the 6100 for WAN connections, so it's turned off. It's set for a static IP that's valid on my network (and it's been reserved in the network!)
The WAN is actually turning?off--the icon on the screen goes away.
