I’ve yet to see a decoder worth a darn, the one in my FTDX-10 included.? Unless you are in a high signal to noise ratio with no qsb environment… AND you have the speed of the decoder matched exactly or very closely to the incoming speed they just spit out gibberish.? I’ve yet to see one that could out copy even my tired old ears.? I think that at their current state of development (which hasn’t improved very much since they first came out), they’re not much more than a novelty and really shouldn’t be relied upon for anything other than trying to impress non-hams.? Idk, maybe if they throw much more computing power at them or make a serious effort to write better software or maybe put A.I. on the case they may become what we’d like them to be.? Until then, your brain is the best decoder in existence.

There are several software apps that may help you with using the X6100 and a good cw decoder and they are very easy to see for older eyes especially.
MRP40, CwGet, CW decoder and hamradio deluxe among others.
All these require a computer of course but if you want to use a software application that works regardless of the built-in radio functions these work great.

My X6100 has the latest software installed. None of the subject functions work on this radio.?
Is there a software version that does allow operation of the?CW & Digital Decoder, FM squelch & RF gain?
I have asked this same question of the Radioddity support as well as on several other forums and have received no response.
One thing is for sure, after having spent $600 on a radio that does not work properly, there is no way in hell I'll spend a like amount, or more on a new model that will likely do the same thing! Especially given that the manufacture apparently does not care that their product doesnt work.
