Depends on what batch your device is from. Mine was purchased a year ago and it itself begins to generate interference when connected to external power. Moreover, this is definitely not interference from an external source. I checked with the external battery too. The interference is usually especially noticeable in the region of 7.1-7.2 MHz. It floats depending on the external voltage. I recently got a device from a new series, it does not have this effect.
