Helps to add the link:

Most small, cheap switching mode power supplies are going to be problematic.

I use this one and it works great without much, if any, noticeable noise.

I have a couple small variable switching power supplies, but they cause lots of noise when connected and that noise can hide signals. I want to keep my kit portable, so these small brick power supplies are ideal. I do mostly FT8, but I can see the signal loss on phone as well.

Working on the internal battery or an external battery (lead acid or lifepo) is much better. I've tried a few things to try to clean it up, like connecting the battery in parallel with power to try to smooth it out (and if I keep the power turned down at or slightly below battery voltage, it's good, but I assume I'll need to keep turning down as the battery flattens).

I've maybe been convinced that a combination of PRE and ATT has helped.

Does anyone have any advice for using small portable power supplies with this radio while maintaining sensitivity?
