Hi Ron,
thanks for your reply on my bat. topic.
meanwhile I have done more tests concerning charging bat. and
receiving and transmitting.
>I have found I should charge the internal battery until the panel LED stops blinking
>and then charge for an additional 2 hours to get a full complete charge of the internal battery. ?
I>t then will read 8.1V on my X6100.
I can conform your observation.
Prior I was thinking that charging is only active while the LED is flashing in green state.
That seems not only be the case as you mentioned too.
>We have found the X6100 voltmeter is not so accurate.
While charging my TRX with an external PSU and measuring the voltage and current
I observe too a difference of -0.2V between my external PS and the internal value
displayed by the X6100.
The difference could be caused by the two FET switch that handle the internal and
external power supply while operation and/or charging.
I can confirm that the TRX getting quite hot while be charged and under operation.
I will do some IR pics later when I repeat my tests.
Now the X6100 is again in charging mode and I will let him connected for some hours
after the led stops flashing.
Thanks again for the provided information.
