Silly question that I'm hoping someone can quickly answer. I am doing more CW now with the x6100 and often need to use the XIT function to aid in pile-ups, etc. I usually end up just "stumbling" into where that particular setting is located in the GUI - but can never find it again when I'm specifically looking for it! Pretty sure it's tied directly off of the MFK, but last night I tried every combination of button pushing and knob twirling and as usual, couldn't find it. Running version 18 of the R1CBU firmware, but I'd had this problem going back at least a few versions.
Also - new to this version is the much-anticipated CW memory function - and it works very well with the observation that if the "message send" screen is showing, neither the MFK nor the VOL-SQL-RFG knobs appear to function... meaning if I want to turn the VOL up for some reason, etc., I need to press another function button to exit the "message send" screen so they operate..
Thanks & 73 -
