I am a bit lat to this discussion, but after latest firmware upgrade my battery seems to behave correctly, it charges to 8.2-3V and lasts, and shuts down, as expected at about 7,2V.
However, when being charged the green light is NOT flashing, but stays always on. The display shows the charing symbol.
