There are two options. 1) using the buildroot of the required version, build almost any software that you need specifically for the standard system image. But here it is impossible to build a kernel or drivers for it - because the sources are closed. And here comes option 2) Completely assemble your system. With its own kernel, all drivers and rootfs.
