Re: XEphem and RH 7.2?

XEphem and RH 7.2?
Is anyone else having trouble running XEphem under RH Linux 7.2? I'm having an issue with the pulldown menus and some other data lines not displaying properly. I've even gone back to the 3.4

XEphem 3.5 stopped working!
I just discovered that my 3.5 installation of xephem stopped working. The main thing I have done to my system recently was to upgrade from RedHat 7.1 to RedHat 7.2 (enigma). Now when I start xephem,

Got any RedHat 7.2 RPMs? Also I was wondering if I compiled the code from scratch, can I use just the catalogs published within the RPM? -- John Perry perry@... PGP-encrypted e-mail

Re: some questions about v 3.5 (Linux)
Hello Mathias, I did actually do an uninstall a couple of days ago, fully prepared to re-install 3.4, but everything seems to work ok, so the rpm install of 3.5 must not have wiped out anything

XEphem rpm packages for SuSE linux 7.2
Hi, created rpm packages for SuSE 7.2, already containing lots of catalogs which are all also to be found on http://iraf.nao.ac.jp/iraf/ftp/contrib/xephem/catalogs/ so if anyone needs those, feel

Correct, neither toolbar toggle can be Saved. I decided the SkyView Options dialog was tall enough already so did not add a corresponding entry for Live cursor reporting there (which is really the way

some questions about v 3.5 (Linux)
Hello All. I was just looking at the new version of XEphem, and to me it seems more like an evolutionary step from 3.4, rather than the big step from 3.2 to 3.4. This has probably more to do with how
