I want to thank everyone for their efforts to find this. I have received stack traces, detailed version info, and sundry narratives from several folks. But the fact remains I can not reproduce this

Re: I-face preferences
Well, I'm on linux, and my .Xdefaults are: - General motif hacks: 16.8KB (to make it more IRIX looking) - Per app motif hacks: 25.3KB (misc things like frames which didn't work well with general ones)

GSC-ACT
Hi everyone- The CDRom Contents for the new 3.5.2 version says that XEphem uses GSC-ACT, the "Improved Hubble Guide Star Catalog from Project Pluto." To my knowledge, there are three ways to use the

I-face preferences
Am I the only one snob, who fowns color and fonts preferences in Xephem? (Mr. Downey said he would work on it- in reference to my "functional areas"- and in 3.5.x it's IMHO even worse than in 3.4-

I can report that I have a PowerBook G4 running MacOSX 10.1.2, and I have no such problems. This is the first time I have run X on the Mac, though; so I have a "clean" environment from having just

Re: LX200 control
I have the same problem in MacOSX. The lx200xed binary is in /usr/local/bin, but that is not in the default PATH. Move the binary, or fix your PATH. IMHO, XEphem should not rely on PATH to invoke the

A little more info: I can run the 3.4 version but not the 3.5.1 version from this site: http://www.qbjnet.com/xephem.html However, I know for certain I have run the 3.5.1 version in the past. Hugh --

Here's my otool output, seems to be identical. Weird, this used to work for me too, although I think I was using 3.5.1 earlier. bash-2.05$ otool -L /usr/local/bin/xephem /usr/local/bin/xephem:
