I'm talking about the virtual OS. The mouse won't point and various other issues. I'm looking into it.

I'm not quite sure what you mean...
1. openSUSE runs just fine inside virtual machines.
2. the xephem rpm packages on the opensuse buld service come in 64bit, so no 32bit compat libs are needed.
