I've packaged 4.7.6 RC2 now.
To install it as a suse package (which will get you later updated as well):
- go to
- select your distribution from the dropdown
- make sure you have "search home projects" under "search options" switched
*ON*
- enter "xephem" as search term
then all you need to do is click "1-click-install" near the right result...

I have suse rpm packages in my OBS project...
right now it's 4.7.4, gonna package 4.7.5 or maybe 4.7.6 RC2 soon.
