Thanks Elwood, it worked good on Snow Leopard. Couple of days ago I upgraded to OSX Lion, no problems there either :)

If you have already downloaded disk1, after downloading the new disk1 be sure to confirm the updated md5 sum so you know you have the new file. Then before installing the OS X package, please use Terminal and type the following to make sure you get the new binary:
% sudo rm /usr/local/bin/xephem

I just cleaned up my Mac OSX Snow Leopard and reinstalled everything from scratch. Version 3.7.4 works as expected, however, when trying to run 3.7.5 I get an error:
dyld: Library not loaded: /usr/X11/lib/
libpng12.0.dylib
Refereced from: /usr/local/bin/xephem
Reason: Incompatible library version: xephem
requires version 45.0.0 or later, but libpng12.0.dylib
provides version 36.0.0
