Re: Code plug Rx and Tx frequencies cracked

Thanks !!!!!!!!!

This looks like a gold mine. I've been reinventing the wheel, but I'm
learning Python in the meantime so I guess it wasn't a complete waste
of time.

It's looking clear to me that the group knowledge is sufficient to do
an Xcat X9000 that'll support ham needs for rx and tx frequency
control, PL encode and decode frequency control and scanning.

I'm thinking that the initial code plug contents will be generated by
RSS and loaded into the Xcat. CI-V, or Doug Hall can be used to
change the basics of mode 1 which would be used as the "VFO" mode.
Copying modified mode 1 data into other modes and saving them to flash
should be easy.

I'm not super interested in dynamically configuring anything else
except perhaps the squelch. Is there anything I'm missing that we
want/need to be able to control via a control head or repeater
controller that I'm missing?

Off to ebay to spend some more $$$, ugh.

Anyway the original LB only calculator .xls explains more than the multi band version.
I found it and the .pdf form of the info tab I created way back when...
