True. I've done it. The sifference is the X doesnt have an unswitch 5v source so powering down looses the customer configuration.

The bits are stored inverted. Yeah, that one thru me for a while too...lol
Mad scientest note...the 4.166 khz reference would be awesome to use in a FHSS setup...the VCO is fast enough..........
