No joy yet. It loaded up the uhf file off the web site and the software?didn't complain. I was able to transfer it to the device's RAM and verify and it was happy. However, the radio just stays on SELF CHECK.
I tried trimming one of my codeplugs but whatever I did was not correct as the Romulator did not like it.
Not directly.
The RSS makes 9k files but only writes 2048 or or 8192 byte to the radio.
Make a codeplug for a 2k radio, save it then delete all the data after 7FFh in Hex workshop or whatever.
You can probablr put that full 9k on the Romulator and the radio wont care because it is only looking at/for 2k
