Officially, this should be our election meeting, but we will see if we have enough people for a quorum on the one hand, and it seems
like members have been content to keep current slate of officers.? So we will likely just carry on as we have the last several years, though we have no VP.? But if you have other ideas, please show up.
Also, it is that time of year when dues are due.? The website has Pay Dues capability, or Dusty's address if you prefer to write a check
and save 90 cents, minus stamp cost.

Thanks for the link... ? ?I have a VX-6R I can use for it... it does have a s-meter on the lcd... I saw attenuation could be useful, it also has a 10db attenuator.
For HF, I have a X6100 -- which is portable, I need to come up with ?mobile antenna for it though.

Stephen, you can foxhunt with just an HT and we'll be happy to show you how to do it. A good s-meter on the HT will help. The stock antenna will work, and homemade yagis can be effective. My first hunting antenna was a DIY Moxon, and I've made a couple of tape measure yagis.? Yes, it can get as elaborate as you like, but guys still find the fox with a stock HT antenna, and the team with the fanciest stuff doesn't always win ;^)? Let us know when you want to hunt, we can have a little practice hunt anytime. homingin.com has a lot of info.
