I received an email today from Tom Lannom W4WYM, indicating that his Father Jim, WA2IRT had passed recently.? Jim was a former Xerox employee and XARC member who left Xerox around 2000.? Here is a link to his obituary:

Getting late in the contest but several hours left.? All bands are open, and 10 meters is full of DX stations from 28.300 to 28.970 MHz.
Exchange is sig report and state.? For DX station it is sig report and power, often 1K or K.? Only work DX stations, not US and Canada.
Nice to see the bands this active.? Been several years since I have seen anything close to this.
