ARRL DX Phone Contest

Getting late in the contest but several hours left.? All bands are open, and 10 meters is full of DX stations from 28.300 to 28.970 MHz.
Exchange is sig report and state.? For DX station it is sig report and power, often 1K or K.? Only work DX stations, not US and Canada.
Nice to see the bands this active.? Been several years since I have seen anything close to this.

开云体育I just worked Rob Sherwood NC0V on 10 meter SSB (28.416).? He was working the 10-10 International Winter Contest.? Just looking for state and name if no 10-10 number. If you are unfamiliar with him, he tests amateur radio receiver performance and maintains a database which is often referenced in radio advertisements (see
).? At one time he sold some products, but now retired but still tests receivers.? He also often gives presentations at hamfests like Dayton.
His focus on receiver performance and testing over the years actually influenced the ARRL test lab procedures and also receiver design by the manufacturers.

开云体育So far it has been superior to Spectrum.? with 3 bars(out of 5) signal I have seen speeds of over 500mbps. I have occasionally see speeds in the evening drop to 20mbps but it usually doesn't last long and we can still stream 4k video(YouTube TV) .
