Re: Bandpass Filters for Field Day

开云体育

Joe,

Looking for a way to reduce interference between Field Day transmitters.? A bandpass filter can reduce the effect of a nearby different transmitter on a different band.? So each filter is tuned to allow signals in and out that are in that band.

We have talked about it for years, but never really did much about it, other than live with it.? So I got the suggestion again and thought I would ask before doing anything else.

A low pass probably nulls everything above 30 MHz, so not exactly what we are looking for.

You can see more info here:

Before looking at possibly buying, I wanted to check if any club members have any bandpass filters for 80, 40, 20, 15, or 10 meters.? If so, would you be willing to allow the club to borrow for Field Day?

If so, send me an email, let me know what band bandpass filter you have, and maker/model number if possible (unless homebrew).
