I mentioned some months ago about an old ISA card (“PC XNET”) that implemented an x.25 PAD and had a DOS API.
I have finally found an example of the PC XNET in France and had it shipped here. It appears to work and I am now testing an old DOS BBS Software (“The Major BBS”) that had support for the PC XNET.
The host is accessible intermittently at NUA 303001. There may be some double echo problems - please let me know if you come across that. The software is mostly a bone stock install, so not much to see. I’ll work on that in the coming weeks, and once I’m confident of the configuration, I will list the NUA in the google doc.
