WWE ANNOUNCES NEW LFG SHOW FOR A&E
- A&E and WWE announced an expansion of its programming partnership which will include the debut of WWE LFG (Legends & Future Greats), a new competition series that features in-ring matches along with a behind-the-scenes look at rising talent vying for a coveted WWE contract. WWE LFG will offer viewers an inside look at the rigorous training process, featuring iconic WWE Legends such as Paul “Triple H” Levesque and Shawn Michaels and weekly regular coaches Undertaker, Booker T, Mickie James and Bubba Ray Dudley as they mentor a new generation in weekly matches on their quest to become the next WWE Superstars. "Literally filled with blood, sweat, and tears, there's never been a series that combines in-ring action, behind-the-scenes reality, high-stakes drama, and some of WWE's greatest icons all in one package. From total unknowns to legends, ‘LFG’ will give viewers a raw, ground-up, 360-degree view of what it truly takes to make it in the WWE," said Rob Sharenow, President of Programming, A+E Networks. "Our collaboration with WWE has clearly struck a chord with audiences, and we’re excited to continue producing premium content that resonates with a diverse viewership." Executive producers for WWE are Paul “Triple H” Levesque, Lee Fitting, Ben Houser, Shawn Michaels and Jeremy Borash. Elaine Frontain Bryant and Brad Abramson serve as Executive producers for A&E.

WWE SUPERSTARS TO SWITCH BRANDS DURING "TRANSFER WINDOW"
- A talent "transfer window" will allow several WWE Superstars to move brands in the next few weeks as a new era in WWE history is ushered in with the move to Netflix. The idea was announced on last night's Smackdown, with all three general managers - Adam Pearce for Raw, Nick Aldis for Smackdown, and Ava for NXT - having to discuss to see which stars are moving to which brand. Chad Gable and American Made were the first Raw stars to appear on Smackdown last night, interrupting Cody Rhodes. Dominik Mysterio and Gunther were also present during Smackdown and were shown with Smackdown General Manager Aldis. Carmelo Hayes, who was mad at Aldis for talking to Gunther instead of him, "threatened" to move to Raw and told Aldis that Monday Night Melo sounds good to him, something which Aldis agreed to as Melo was a pain to deal with!

REED, LOA, AND USO OUT INDEFINITLEY DUE TO INJURIES
- The three individuals who suffered injuries during the Bloodline WarGames match will be sidelined "indefinitely" according to a report on Smackdown last night. Bronson Reed suffered a broken foot when he went for the Tsunami on Roman Reigns from the top of the cage, only to crash through a table. He landed on his ankle and shattered it and will now undergo surgery. Tonga Loa also suffered a torn biceps in the match which was previously unreported. Loa underwent surgery on his left arm already and it was successful but it will be several months before he is back in action with the new Bloodline. Jimmy Uso is suffering from a broken toe, a casualty of another splash from the top of the cage, a splash which connected on Jacob Fatu through a table. Uso had to be helped to the back after the match. No surgery is required but he will be sidelined until it fully heals.

TIFFANY STRATTON ADVANCES IN U.S. WOMEN'S TITLE TOURNAMENT
- Tiffany Stratton advanced in the United States Women's title tournament after she yesterday successfully defeated Elektra Lopez and Naomi on Smackdown. The two semi final matches will take place on next week's Smackdown, with Bayley taking on Chelsea Green and Stratton battling Michin. The crowning of the inaugural Women's United States champion will follow the next night on Saturday Night's Main Event on NBC with the final match, pitting the two winners of Friday's semi finals.

MARIA KANELLIS SAYS TUMOR WAS NOT CANCEROUS
- In a positive update, Maria Kanellis revealed that her tumor was not cancerous after receiving a report from pathology, putting an end to months-long health scare. "I know it’s been a little bit, it took a while for the pathology to get back. But I wanted to let you guys know that I am cancer-free. The tumor was not cancerous," Kanellis wrote. "We are so incredibly grateful and thankful to be moving into this holiday season cancer-free and to not have that worry. Thank you so much for all of the well-wishes and the prayers," she continued. Kanellis said that her growth was a pheochromocytoma, which is an incredibly rare tumor, writing that only three to eight people in a million get it. "It’s just a weird thing that happened. It affects your mood, it affects your metabolism, it affects your blood pressure, your heart rate. So we are very, very blessed to have found it as early as we did, because it really can start causing problems in your body," Kanellis continued. The former AEW/ROH star announced in July that doctors found a mass on her adrenal gland but could not identify if it was cancerous or not until she goes under surgery and results came back from the biopsy.

ANOTHER SHOW ADDED TO WWE'S A&E LINEUP
- WWE will have another new show on A&E which will be titled WWE's Greatest Moments, a series that will provide fans a front-row seat to relive the iconic events that have shaped WWE history. A new season of the hit-series “WWE Rivals” will also complement this winter’s WWE programming slate on A&E, which will add more than 180 hours of original content over the next three years. WWE’s Greatest Moments will feature play-by-play announcer Michael Cole hosting half-hour episodes with various WWE Superstars & Legends, including “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, Hulk Hogan, Kevin Owens and others, to share vivid recollections and perspectives on the most remarkable moments in wrestling history. In addition, WWE Rivals will return with an all-new season this winter celebrating some of the most iconic and beloved rivalries from the WWE including a never-before-seen look at Hulk Hogan vs. Ultimate Warrior and Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins. "A&E has proved to be an excellent home for WWE content, and we’re excited to partner with their fantastic team on these new show concepts and the latest season of WWE Rivals," said WWE Chief Content Officer Paul "Triple H" Levesque. Executive Producers for WWE are Paul “Triple H” Levesque, Lee Fitting, Ben Houser and Marc Pomarico. Elaine Frontain Bryant, Brad Abramson, and Jonathan Partridge serve as Executive Producers of WWE Greatest Moments, and WWE Rivals for A&E. The WWE shows on A&E will air exclusively on A&E platforms and to be distributed worldwide by A+E Networks.

SMACKDOWN ON EVE OF THE RUMBLE GOES TO INDIANAPOLIS TOO
- The Smackdown on the eve of the Royal Rumble will be taking place live from the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana on Friday, January 31. This will be a double-header for Indianapolis as the Rumble will take place just a few minutes away at Lucas Oil Stadium in downtown Indianapolis. It will be the first WWE event from the stadium and over 45,000 tickets have already been sold for the show. Tickets for Smackdown will go on sale on Wednesday, December 11 starting at 10AM on Ticketmaster.com. Indianapolis will also host a future two-night WrestleMania and a two-night SummerSlam in the coming years in a first of its kind deal brokered between WWE and Indiana Sports Corp.

WWE CONTENT STARTS POPPING UP ON NETFLIX
- WWE content has started popping up on Netflix for international subscribers although they won't be able to be viewed until January 1, 2025. Older premium live events such as Fully Loaded, Judgment Day, Battleground, Armageddon, King of the Ring, Extreme Rules, and Fastlane pop up when you look for WWE in the search but the selection of shows to watch remain limited as more get uploaded. None of the WWE shows listed are playable as WWE's contract with Netflix kicks off in the new year. There's no "WWE" tab like Peacock has in the United States, at least not for now, so any content has to be searched. As previously announced, not all the content from the old WWE Network will be available on Netflix, with only selected content plus the shows such as Raw, Smackdown, NXT internationally.

JESSE VENTURA TO JOIN COMMENTARY TEAM FOR SNME
- A familiar voice will be returning behind the mic for Saturday Night’s Main Event next week as Jesse “The Body” Ventura announced he will be part of the broadcast team for the show. Appearing on the Bill Simmons podcast, the WWE Hall of Famer also revealed that he will do announcing for all the SNME shows on NBC moving forward as part of his new deal with WWE. “It’s ironic because it means my career has gone full circle,” Ventura said. “And here’s the part I don’t understand…they couldn’t control me before, why do they think they can control me now?” During the podcast, Ventura also said that the show will visually be similar to the original Saturday Night’s Main Event, using the same look from the 80s. The entire SNME will be a throwback to the classic look and feel of the original show. The first SNME under this deal will take place from the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Long Island, New York, the same location of the first ever SNME in 1985. WWE announced the Q1 2025 episode for January 25 live from San Antonio, Texas.

MATT CARDONA MAKES SURPRISE APPEARANCE ON ROH TV
- Matt Cardona made a surprise appearance on ROH TV and came out to challenge Chris Jericho for the ROH World title at the upcoming Final Battle event on December 20. Jericho came out for his TV Time segment with Bryan Keith and informed the crowd that for Final Battle, he wants to take on someone who is from New York since the show will be held at the Hammerstein Ballroom. The champ jokingly name dropped Frank Sinatra and Tony Soprano but instead he got Matt Cardona. Jericho was going to call him Zack Ryder, but Cardona cut him off and told him that "Zack is dead" and the one who's going to take the title away from him at Final Battle is Matt Cardona. Cardona is a regular for GCW and recently AEW pulled Ricky Starks from future GCW shows and also booked the Hammerstein for three straight nights, a location frequently used by GCW. "I'm excited for Matt and excited for the fans," GCW owner Brett Lauderdale said. "It will be a fun atmosphere at The Hammerstein Ballroom for AEW and I think things may have just gotten a little more interesting for GCW's return to The Hammerstein Ballroom on January 19th!" Lauderdale also posted "ALWAYZ READY" on X, a term used by Cardona.
