Didn't think they'd go that way but they did, and then some! ======================================================== //->> NEWS FROM THE WRESTLING-ONLINE NEWSWIRE Web version at BISCHOFF AND X-PAC ON NXT TONIGHT- WWE Hall of Famers and former nWo members Eric Bischoff and X-Pac will be both at tonight's NXT on CW. Bischoff will moderate a face-to-face between NXT champion Trick Williams and his number one contender Ridge Holland. It's unknown what X-Pac will be there for and no details have been revealed since he invited himself to the show last week. We will also find out the last participants of the Iron Survivor Challenge matches with two fatal four-way matches taking place. Eddy Thorpe, Lexis King, Axiom, and Cedric Alexander will fight for the last place in the men's match while Jaida Parker, Wren Sinclair, Cora Jade, and Kelani Jordan go for the last place in the women's match. There will also be a #1 contenders battle royal for the NXT Tag Team titles and Karmen Petrovic vs Nikkita Lyons. BRACKET FOR WOMEN'S INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE TOURNAMENT- The bracket for the Women's Intercontinental title tournament was revealed last night on Raw. The first quarter final match took place yesterday with Damage CTRL's Dakota Kai advancing after she defeated Shayna Baszler and Katana Chance in a triple threat match. Kai will now face the winner of Zoey Stark vs Raquel Rodriguez vs Kayden Carter in the second match on the left side of the bracket. The right side of the bracket has Lyra Valkyria vs Zelina Vega vs Ivy Nile in the first match and Alba Fyre vs Kairi Sane vs Natalya in the second match. The winners of those two matches meet each other in the other semi final. No date was announced as to when the final match will take place. THE NEW DAY TURN HEEL, REJECT BIG E'S RETURN- The New Day's story took an unexpected twist last night on Raw as their 10th year anniversary celebration ended with Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods turning heel on the returning Big E. During the celebration, former WWE champion Big E made a surprise return and said that while he's still not medically cleared to return to the ring, he is going to return to manage The New Day and help fix their issues. Kingston and Woods, who had their issues over the past several weeks, quickly accused E of abandoning them and choosing a desk job and girlfriend over them. A shocked Big E explained that he broke his neck but Kingston and Woods had none of it, reminding E that Steve Austin broke his neck and came back, Kurt Angle broke his neck and came back and Big E is still out and did not even need surgery. Woods told E that he should stop taking people for a ride and admit that he will never be cleared to return and that he should get out of the ring and go back to his desk job, saying sarcastic ally that they would call him if they need him. Big E, without a mic, tried to reason with the two and refused to say he'll never return to the ring, offering a hug. But Kingston stopped him by putting his arm out and Woods turned around. A devastated E then left the ring as Kingston and Woods went face-to-face. "Now it's just me and you," Woods told Kingston. "It's just us bro," Kingston replied as the two shook hands while E watched from the ramp. You can see the segment at . DREW MCINTYRE RETURNS ON RAW- Drew McIntyre returned to Raw last night, his first appearance since losing the Hell In A Cell match against CM Punk this past October at Bad Blood. McIntyre made his presence felt at the end of the broadcast when he attacked Sami Zayn with a Claymore kick after Zayn lost to Seth Rollins in the main event of the show. McIntyre wore a hoodie covering his face, but then removed it to give the camera a menacing look before Raw went off the air. Before the main event, Jey Uso was taken out backstage but his assailant was never shown, with Zayn thinking it was Rollins who did the job after their segment at the start of the broadcast which also involved CM Punk. TWO TITLE MATCHES ADDED TO SATURDAY NIGHT'S MAIN EVENT- The WWE World Heavyweight title and the Women's World title will also be defended on Saturday Night's Main Event, marking WWE's return to NBC with three huge title matches so far. Gunther will be defending his title against Judgment Day member Finn Balor while Liv Morgan will defend her gold against Iyo Sky, joining the WWE title match featuring Cody Rhodes vs Kevin Owens. Balor attacked Gunther last night on Raw following Gunther's win against Dominik Mysterio. This prompted Raw General Manager Adam Pearce to make the match official for December 14, but Balor might be in even more trouble. Pearce also dropped a hint that Balor and JD McDonagh will have to defend the WWE World Tag Team titles on the same show so Balor might have to pull double duty. Iyo Sky became the #1 contender for Morgan's WWE Women's World title after she won a battle royal earlier last month. The two were opponents at the WarGames match this past weekend. Saturday Night's Main Event will air on December 14 st arting at 8PM ET on NBC. WWE will officially move to Netflix with Raw in the United States on January 6. The majority of the rest of the world will be getting more than just Raw, with Smackdown, NXT, and premium live events as well during the same time.
