TRIPLE H AND NICK KHAN IN LONDON TO MEET MAYOR FOR MANIA TALKS
- WWE Chief Content Officer Paul ¡°Triple H¡± Levesque and WWE President Nick Khan, along with other TKO officials, were in London, England yesterday to meet with London Mayor Sadiq Khan. The focus of the discussion was to bring a major WWE premium live event to the city, more specifically a WrestleMania. Prior to the election, the mayor said that if he were to be re-elected, he would do everything in his power to bring certain big sporting events to the city, including WrestleMania. ¡°Delighted to have met with Paul ¡°@TripleH¡± Levesque and @WWE President Nick Khan to discuss making London WrestleMania¡¯s first international destination,¡± Mayor Khan said. ¡°The meeting was really productive. Talks will continue about how we could turn our ambition into a reality.¡± In interviews with the media, Triple H said that they had a good meeting with the mayor and their goal is WrestleMania in London but there are a lot of factors in play, including the weather which is very unpredictable. There are no covered stadiums in England, which complicates the situation. At last year¡¯s Money In The Bank in London, John Cena came out to hype up the crowd and said he was there to try and make WrestleMania in London a reality, a statement which blew the roof off the O2 Arena. WrestleMania has never been held outside of North America.

WWE OPEN FOR BROCK LESNAR RETURN
- Speaking to The Daily Mail in London after meeting with London mayor Sadiq Khan, Triple H said that the company is open to having Brock Lesnar return. Asked how close is Lesnar to making his WWE return, Triple H said that we'd have to ask Brock Lesnar that question. "Brock does his own thing. He¡¯s up in Canada, I¡¯m sure watching his kids play hockey and enjoying life," he continued. "If and when he decides that he would like to do something, we¡¯d be open to the conversation. But, we¡¯ll see!" The Beast Incarnate has not been seen on WWE television since SummerSlam 2023, losing to Cody Rhodes. His planned return at the Royal Rumble was scrapped after Lesnar was named in the Janel Grant lawsuit against Vince McMahon where he allegedly received several NSFW images and videos of Grant and was even offered Grant for sex in a bid to get him to sign a new WWE deal.

ASUKA APPEARS AT OSAKA SHOW
- Asuka made an appearance at the non-televised live event yesterday in Osaka, Japan. The former multi-time champion has been off WWE television since Backlash in May and recently underwent knee surgery to repair an injury she had for a while. Asuka obviously didn't do anything physical but cut a promo in the ring and was reunited with Damage CTRL. Asuka walked without crutches. WWE has two more dates in Japan, today and tomorrow both in Tokyo.

CODY RHODES GIFTED HIS FATHER'S RED ROBE IN TOKYO
- Cody Rhodes shared a special moment in the ring after his main event match at the non-televised live event in Tokyo today. After he defeated AJ Styles to retain the WWE championship, Rhodes was gifted the red robe and hat that his father Dusty wore back in the day. The robe was on display at the Antonio Inoki Exhibition. Fans were pushing for Cody to wear and he obliged, putting the robe, hat, and then did a couple of laps around the ring just like his dad used to do. An emotional Rhodes then got on his knees and kissed the mat as fans cheered. This was after Cody got a young fan who was wearing the traditional Japanese kimono in the ring and gifted her the weight belt and shared a hug with her. You can see it at .

DREW MCINTYRE POSTS PHOTO WITH JACK PERRY TO TROLL CM PUNK
- Drew McIntyre's feud with CM Punk reached the next level when the former champion posted an unexpected photo with AEW star Jack Perry. "It's a real photo, cry us a river," McIntyre wrote as the caption, obviously referring to Perry's line at All In which eventually led to the backstage brawl which ended CM Punk's short-lived stint in AEW. This is the second time in a few days that McIntyre has trolled CM Punk after a few days ago he posted a photo of Punk's new shirt which has "Clobber McIntyre Punk" in the back. Punk previously said he never had to put another man's name on a shirt to sell. "Aging as well as 'hey Colt Cabana how you doing?'" McIntyre wrote. McIntyre has since deleted the photo with Jack Perry. Punk and McIntyre will meet at SummerSlam with Seth Rollins as the special guest referee.

PUNK CREDITS MCMAHON LEAVING FOR WWE RETURN
- In an interview with Instinct Culture's Denise Salcedo at San Diego Comic-Con, CM Punk credited the removal of Vince McMahon from WWE as a big reason why he returned to the company late last year. He admitted that there were several things that had to fall into place for him to return, with all the stars aligning and a lot of dominos falling in order. But as luck would have it, everything Punk wanted to clear his way to return, happened. "Vince being out of picture, I think, probably illuminated the way. I think that might have been one of the biggest things," Punk told Salcedo. "And that was both ways. It wasn¡¯t me, it wasn¡¯t him, it was...there¡¯s a lot of history there. All of a sudden, one of us got removed from the equation and it changed a lot of things." Punk said that while they all thought his return would be a big deal for a variety of reasons, no one ever thought it would exceed all expectations and then some. "If WWE was the place it is today back then, I never would have left," Punk said. "All the things that happened and the arguments and the butting of heads, the feeling of being injured and burnt out, and feeling like those in a managerial role weren¡¯t listening, that doesn¡¯t exist in the current atmosphere." Punk is set for his first televised one-on-one match since his return at the upcoming SummerSlam against Drew McIntyre.

MEIKO SATOMURA RETIRING NEXT YEAR
- Tokyo Sports is reporting that Japanese wrestling legend Meiko Satomura will be retiring from her active wrestling career and will have her final match next year in the Spring. The 44-year-old Satomura is currently under contract with WWE but has rarely appeared since NXT UK closed its doors. She is wrestling with the company as part of the three-day tour in Japan this weekend. A formal announcement of her retirement is forthcoming and her last match might coincide with the 30th's anniversary of her wrestling debut in April. Satomura will be wrestling Bayley for the WWE Women's championship tomorrow night in Tokyo in the last leg of the tour, with Bayley writing that it will be an "absolute honor" to wrestle her. ¡°Feels like I¡¯m having a WrestleMania match 1 week before SummerSlam," Bayley wrote on X. She has teamed up with Bayley, Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill against Iyo Sky, Kairi Sane, Dakota Kai, and Tiffany Stratton in the first two shows of the tour. Apart from being under contract with WWE, Satomura runs her own Sendai Girls promotion in Japan.

RONDA ROUSEY EXPECTING SECOND CHILD
- Ronda Rousey dropped some big news at the San Diego Comic-Con yesterday, announcing that she is expecting her second child with Travis Browne. Rousey made the announcement during a panel to promote her first graphic novel, a panel hosted by former WWE Superstar himself Dave Bautista. Posting later on Instagram, Rousey said that she and Browne are expecting another baby girl. "Happy I can finally shout it from the rooftops, but couldn¡¯t resist revealing it at Comicon where I¡¯d coincidentally be exactly as far along (4 months) as my character 'Mom' is in my new graphic novel Expecting the Unexpected," Rousey wrote. Rousey gave birth to the couple's first daughter in September 2021 and then resumed her WWE in-ring career. She eventually departed WWE in August 2023 and was very critical of the organization under the helm of Vince McMahon. In latest interviews, Rousey expressed hope that the culture in WWE changes under Triple H and the women's division is getting better under his leadership.

TBS TITLE MATCH OFFICIAL FOR ALL IN
- The TBS title match for All In was made official yesterday with double champion Mercedes Mone defending one of her gold against Britt Baker. The announcement came at the San Diego Comic-Con during the AEW panel with Tony Khan delivering the news. Baker asked for a match on Wednesday at Dynamite but Mone refused and later she was attacked by Kamille. Mone and Kamille showed up at the Comic-Con in style, dressed as Poison Ivy and Bane, two of Batman's biggest villains. They confronted Baker on stage and that led to a brawl, with many AEW stars involved in pulling them apart. Khan then grabbed the mic and said he's sick of this and wants to see the match between the two, announcing the match for All In much to the enjoyment of the crowd.

DYNAMITE RATING
- Blood & Guts Dynamite drew 768,000 viewers, down 27,000 viewers from the prior week. The show had to face the President Biden address to the nation in the first portion of the broadcast. In the 18-49 demo, Dynamite had a 0.26 rating, down just 0.01 from last week. Cable rankings are not available. Last year's Blood & Guts episode drew 953,000 viewers and a 0.34 rating.
