Fldigi on Windows 11

Douglas Reece All Messages By This Member #30426 After installing Fldigi on a Windows 11 PC, I found that I was unable to select sound card settings in the setup dialog.? I kept getting the "Port I/O Not Available" message regardless of the security permissions on sound devices. My solution for the time being was to copy two configuration files from my Windows 10 installation to C:\Users\<userName>\fldigi.files The files copied were fldigi.prefs fldigi_def.xml
David Ahrendts All Messages By This Member #33974 THANK YOU, Douglas Reece -- you solved my problem upgrading from Windows 10 to a new PC with Windows 11. Moving the fldigi.prefs and fldigi_def.xml files from my Windows 10 working installation to the new Windows 11 made it all come alive again. My base problem was getting the error code AUDIO PORT NOT AVAILABLE when setting up Devices even though I had emphatically checked Windows Privacy>Michrophone settings correctly by opening the Microphone to all apps.
