I cannot remember if the two cables are connected.? But, they are wrapped the same, only opposite if I remember right SF

Remove the pop-up vent on the cowl. Two bolts from underneath, IIRC. Once that is out of the way, you'll have pretty decent access to the cables and wiper posts. Regards, Dr. Vern
