Another Willy

Kel Blakelock

Howdy,
I'm very new to the list but thought I would share. I'm driving home
from work and see a 1951 Willy Wagon parked in a drive way. Of course I
stop and say hi. This leads to another contact. I call the gentleman and
he has a 1950 Willy Jeep that he has had stored for some time and wants to
give it a good home (free). I talk for awhile, prove I'm a Willys collector
and he gives me the jeep. I pick it up in the morning. The gentleman is
just getting up in years and wants his jeep to have someone that will love
it. Now I've got one 1953 Willys Pickup in the garage, two more Pickups in
the drive way (52 and 54), and a jeep on the way. Not to mention my 69 Nova
(fully restored) that I drive everyday. Where am I suppose to store all
these vehicles? You ever notice how a hobby can quickly get out of control?
BTW, someone mentioned buying an air compressor and trying to justify to the
wife all the neat stuff that goes with it. Now, I'm not sure but I think
that it is a Federal Law that if you buy a compressor that you must purchase
at least three assessors for it within 30 days of the purchase. I'm in
compliance, (blaster, impact wrench, and air hammer) Hope this helps with
the wife.
