I may have the opportunity to purchase a 57 Willys wagon nearby pretty
cheap. From the pictures I have seen it looks like a 4 cyl - with an
original looking air cleaner. Apparently it also "ran when parked - last
year"
Interior looks mostly original but rough. Exterior is rusty (go figure, a
rusty car in MN) Grill looks almost perfect, and front fenders and hood are
pretty good.
Now the big question - ballpark what's this thing worth? I suppose I should
also say that my only reason for buying would be resale, either in whole or
in pieces to fund my CJ project. Not that I have anything against wagons
but my wife would shoot me if I got started on another Jeep before building
her street rod.
Attached is a picture - maybe you can tell me what engine this is. And
whether I should buy this beast or not.
P.S. the answer to the oil pressure question was 40 psi it turns out the 60
psi spring is for Turbo-Buicks - had to consult a dealer for a definitive
answer
