FW: [WTML] Serial# & body stamping

Hough, Brandon D.

To continue this post, yes the serial # on 4WD trucks is on the top of the
frame rails in 2 places; 1) just in front of the right rear wheel as
mentioned, and 2) just behind the left front wheel.

Question, I have the title to my '64 FC150 but the VIN plate in the cab is
missing. To get it titled in my name, they will have to verify that the
title I have matches the truck. Does anyone know of another place on FC's
that the serial number is listed?

thanks!

<< Hey,

Can any body tell me the exact location of various body stamping # ,
casting
# and serial # ( frame, axles/housing, engine, tranny/xfer) for the trucks.
Funny you should ask, I found a serial # last week on my 62 pickup on the
top
side of the right side frame just a little to the front of the rear tire. I
couldn't see it with the bed on.
