Until then, here's a look inside the actuator - not difficult to open with a small screw driver and then wire cutters.? It seems the very simple rubber diaphragm that has developed two holes over the last 50 years or so.? The shape of the diaphragm is like a soup bowl.? Several winkles have developed with stress points that have failed.? Could inner tube patch glue work to seal the holes?? The miser in me is calling...
