Never used it on the end of a crankshaft, but have used on several wheel bearing sleeve areas. Works perfectly. I cannot see why it would not work on the crank shaft.

Been working on a couple of boat trailers, and problems with pitted and rusty spindles- in the area where the seal is supposed to keep out water- the inside- is a problem on one axle end on both trailers.? I stumbled across references to this product, which is a stainless steel sleeve that covers up the problems.? We'll see.

Wonderering if anyone uses this product on the rear end of a Willys 4 crankshaft, to clean up a pitted area where the rear seal is supposed to seal things up.
