Joe:
If you get serious about electric, let me know. I have a big Jet starter
engine and anotehr starter generator and some misc, that I got one time
back when Mother Earth News had plans for a hybrid electric. I still
have the plans, just don't have a plan (or the time). May never get
aound to that project since I have too many gasoline ones.

Subject: [WT] Re: Idea going round in my head... [Hybrid conversion]
I was just wondering where the Palmyra chapter of WT was hiding out...
The Norwalk chapter is proud as hell--finally took the '53 PU for a long
drive last week.
I've considered making my cj-5 an electric beast with a small diesel to
generate power if needed. It's a twisted, rotted shell of a machine now,
so any mods won't void my cultural sensibilities. There are many great
books on electric cars, and one of them actually has a kit price in it.
For now, my truck is a gas burner, my Ford is a veggie/bio runner, and
the '5 is still a pile of crap.
