Does anyone know of a source for the spacers that went behind the
stock left tail lights on the CJ3B's? I tried Willys-Overland and they
had never heard of it, or of the ALA tail lights on the early 3B's for
that matter. I've seen only one for sale on EBay, which had rust
damage, and, with a Hall tail light (came off a late CJ3B), sold for
more than I could pay. Talked to one guy off-list who was going to see
about getting them reproduced, but haven't heard back, so I presume
that didn't happen. Anybody got any of these used? The things were
prone to rust out, as the big wire hole in the rear panel let in the
water and dirt, which accumulated inside them. While I'm on the
subject, does anyone have a source for a two filament socket (I
retrofitted turn signals) that will fit the ALA tail light without
alterations? I finally tracked down a set of NOS lights to replace my
aftermarket lights but need the sockets and the spacers. I don't want
to have to alter the tail lights.
