Some notes on the Pocket Tutor build

I used this one:

It works fine. Since I did not want to use knobs, this one has a fluted shaft, like the volume control. It is a split shaft however. So, I put a small sliver of a?popsicle stick in the slot, then put some heat-shrink on the shaft. Now it looks pretty much like?the volume control, and a very close height match. For the key and headphone jacks, I actually elongated the holes in the pcb. This moved the jacks pretty close to the pcb edge. I used the fattest plug I had, and then filed away a bit of the pcb, so the plug fit all the way. Ken WB2ART
