Hi,
The short answer on N3JFP vs N1MM is nobody suggested anything else.?
Since I was the one sort of driving the bus this year, N3JFP is what we have used in the past. I also find N3JFP easier for someone that has never used logging software before, combined with the networking features that will allow us to see club scores through
the day. Also,?if anyone needed support or questions answered, N3JFP is what I know.
But also since it is "work from home" you are free to use whichever logging software you wish. Since we are all 1D/1E we will be submitting our own logs. If you chose to use another logging application, your data will simply not show up in the shared club log
pages per my previous email. But you can still submit as part of the club.?
BTW, and this is to everyone, as part of the meeting tonight we discussed that it is important that anyone submitting logs with club affiliation use: "Garlic Valley Amateur Radio Club"
They all have to be the same. If someone uses GVARC, Garlic Valley Radio Club, etc, they will not be combined and will show as separate scores.
Cheers,
Ray

Hi all,
? ? Due to a senior moment, I forgot about the 6:30 zoom meeting.? I had a?
question I wanted to ask, too ... and that is, why has the club decided to go
with the N3FJP software (for $9) when the N1MM package is considered
an "industry standard" for contesting and it's free?? Anyway, looking forward
hearing about how the zoom meeting went this evening.

Hi Ray.
See you tomorrow on the Zoom meeting. I'd like to touch bases with you there and check about using your rig through Remote Hams. Thanks. Benson |
