COmmission REgistration System (CORES): If you do not have a CORES Username account, you will need one. If are or you’ve been previously licensed (prior to 2024), you probably do not have one. help me in spreading the following information.
?The
Hurricane Watch Net is now at “Alert Level 3” meaning we
are prepared to activate.
?As
of Advisory 4 posted at 11:00 AM EDT (1500 UTC) by the
National Hurricane Center, the center of Tropical Storm
Francine was located about 245?miles
southeast of the Rio Grande, and about 480 miles
south-southwest of Cameron, Louisiana moving to the
north-northwest or 340° at 5 mph. Maximum sustained
winds were 50 mph. The minimum central pressure was 1002
mb or 29.59 inches
?The
current brings Francine ashore somewhere near
Intercoastal City, LA early Wednesday evening as a Cat 1
Hurricane. Of course, a lot can change over the next 48
hours.
?For
now, the Hurricane Watch Net is posting these tentative
activation plans beginning Wednesday morning.
