Re: File - RMS Analyzer Operation

I don’t run BPQ32 so I can’t be certain but Analyzer parses the adi files created by RMS Trimode and reads the Trimode.ini file. So if there are ADI files in the Trimode/log/ folder and Trimode is running, Analyzer should work.

If it could, since BPQ32 takes the place of RMS Relay. I don't see any adif files only the logs created in BPQ. Which could be parsed and loaded into the program but that would be Doc expertise?

RMS Analyzer Operation

It has been made apparent to me that some of Analyzer’s clients are running it intermittently. Please understand that Analyzer has been designed to run 24/7. I run the CPU Meter in the Gadget Gallery here. It continuously shows the percentage of CPU power being used. Generally on my Win 7 Server it shows around 2% with RMS Relay, Trimode, Winmor TNC and Analyzer all operational. This is the value shown whether Analyzer is running or not. So leaving it running 24/7 does not contribute to the CPU load appreciably. I made the Analyzer size select-able to allow it to be displayed continuously if desired. On my 1280x1024 resolution screen I have all four displays showing concurrently, including all four panels of Analyzer. I enjoy seeing it update after a connection completes.

What version # please. I have posted only one recently but there are a few beta versions individually installed. Do u have Team View installed? Would u let me in to look around? I find that is the easiest and fastest way to uncover problems and to find fixes.

Running latest version of Analyzer on Win 7 machine with one instance of Trimode.

All previous versions worked fine.? I have installed the latest version multiple times and the program locks up when it attempts to run the 4-5 instance of the CMD window. I have always removed the previous install from the Programs and Features List before reinstalling the latest version multiple times.

I have even deleted the analyzer folder under trimode on a reinstall and the program still does not run.

I have not tried to go back to a prior version of Analyzer as yet.? Has anyone else experienced this problem?

I have RMSAnalyzser running 24/7 as well. I put it in the startup folder to start after Trimode starts up. I log in via TV and click on Google Earth and it gives me an idea where the user have logged in from. Since we know that by Winklink Map station are not exactly pointing directly to the spot where the station is. It's interesting to see that a station is sitting in the middle of the bush or some boater out in the Pacific..

Thanks Wallace. So the problem my client is having must be local in his recent update. It is certainly not obvious.
