It is not Analyzer that creates the necessary adi(f) files. These files are created in RMS Trimode and READ by Analyzer to give you the data in graphic presentations that are meaningful to your operation. However, with the development of the Hybrid Radio Only portion of the RMS System, the adif file code has not been updated to properly present that data in Analyzer. I can only refer you to the WDT to raise the priority of this matter to get a speedy resolution. 73 Michael - VA3LKI ----- Original Message -----

Dan, Enable adif logs in Trimode site set-up. Check boxes to enable logs, enable RMSanalyzer logging, and set saving logs for 60 days instead of the default 7 days.On Sat, Apr 4, 2015 at 9:38 AM, 'Dan' dcm8@... [rmshfanalyzer] <rmshfanalyzer@...> wrote:

Re: New file uploaded to rmshfanalyzer
I just went through this recently, apparently Trimode does not record radio only connections and consequently would not create the ADI log on my system because all of my connections were Radio Only. After somebody finally connected with a WL2K RMS (not radio only) connection it created the file, but it doesn't update unless conventional connection occurs, wish I had better news for you ! Re: Crash at launch
Yep, without an adi file for the current month or a copy.adi file from previous processing (which is what Analyzer actually mines for data) the current version of RMS Analyzer does crash. I’ll fix that in the next version. -de DoC, W1EO- From: rmshfanalyzer@... [mailto:rmshfanalyzer@...]

Dan,
Check your RMS Trimode.ini file, these two lines should be in it. HF Analyzer=True ADIF Log=True Dennis W5DG On 3/26/2015 10:30 AM, 'DoC' d.g.willard@... [rmshfanalyzer] wrote:

Re: Crash at launch
And for me to figure out why Analyzer doesn’t start- Strange since it seems that the same condition would occur at month rollover when the old adi file is out of date and the new one hasn’t been created by trimode yet. Re: Crash at launch
GM Dan; What Version are u attempting to run? All the recent versions have been validated on XP, Vista 32, Win 7 32 and Win 8.1 We have found it easier for us to come into ur system using Team Viewer to look around. If u would allow that I’d need the TV ID and password. De DoC W1EO From: rmshfanalyzer@... [mailto:rmshfanalyzer@...]

Crash at launch
I keep getting crashes at launch on my Win7 32bit machine. It is installed in the correct place, I can rename the ini file so it doesn't get used and it still crashes, I can comment out indices and it still crashes.
It does bring up the CMD windows (3 I believe) and it seems to be related to a command in one of the windows where gets an error saying "Remove is not a valid command" Any help would be greatly appreciated ! Dan KD8PGB |
