....? I found the setting I needed to get the Y857 on the air on 2M. I had the tone and the repeater shift programmed, I just couldn't find the name of the setting to change the shift to a negative number. I found it in a completely different menu, set it, et voila!!?? Soon I'll increase xmit power enough to get out and test whether I reach both repeaters.
