? The course takes approximately 2 hours to complete, and you can do it from the privacy of your own residence. It is accepted by MOST (but not all) National Weather Service offices, in lieu of attending an in-person class. Check with your local National Weather Service office for details.? ? Also, many NWS Offices will be offering Basic Spotter Classes typically in the late winter or spring.
