Got history? From now until 14-JAN-2016, UA's Special Collections library's "Tucson: Growth, Change and Memories" exhibit -- -- can be seen, with photos and other ephemera from the 1950s and 1960s (brochures touting the then-latest in fabulous suburban residential living to photos documenting the bulldozing of the barrios south of downtown to make way for the TCC complex) on display. But next Thursday (17th) will be a special treat, a "Growing Up in Tucson" panel discussion among four native Tucsonans -- professor and author Lydia Otero (_La Calle: Spatial Conflicts and Urban Renewal in a Southwest City_), Pima County District 5 Supervisor Richard Elias, business owner Katya Peterson (daughter of Tucson's beloved and iconic Cele Peterson), and former City Councillor Molly McKasson.
