Did anyone bother to salvage all those lovely bricks, not to mention the new bathroom and water fountain features that were put in just months before they closed, at a hurried pace to get it ready, and a huge cost in overtime?? Who gets the money from that if they do?? Certainly not the taxpayers who paid the extra money.
Hope this new transitional care center is better than the one where my father in law was when he was overmedicated because the care staff didn't want to deal with him.? I can only hope it'll be better managed and the staff better trained in reading the medical charts? for reasons why people with certain conditions are not supposed to receive certain medications.....
Guess with all the "private, non-profit" charter schools we're opening we don't need a nice school that had a good staff and was a good location for the neighborhood kids who were able to walk to school.
