The name Rottman is vaguely familiar, but I have a lot of gaps in my memories from those days....that was a long long time ago! :-)
We lived 17 miles out of Willcox on a farm in the Kansas Settlement area, so didn't know everyone in town.? My dad probably would have known these folks as he had many contacts in town.
In fact, back in the early 1960's, he was head of the local Farm Bureau, and he and Bruce Huffman (owned The Toggery) used to have softball tournaments in the summers? -? farmers vs merchants.? It was a lot of fun.
Regarding Benson? -? I always remember Willcox Cowboys vs Benson Bobcats = arch sports rivals!? Benson was such a little place back then but I think it has grown much bigger than Willcox over the years!
