I remember the playing of albums. That's how I became aware of the first Black Sabbath
album without Ozzy Osbourne. They also used to play the song "Precious" by the
Pretenders in which the phrase F*** Off is sung very clearly. And of course there was Bob
Cooke and the tragic end he came to. Does anyone remember which club it happened at?
I remember the KUAT DJs regularly being unaware that a record was stuck skipping at
the same place. Quite often they would forget to turn off the microphone. We'd be treated
to hearing their coversations as the selection was playing. I remember one pretentious DJ
who would pronounce every composer's name as if it were French.

Bob Cooke was working as a DJ at Chances over by the Panda Village on Tanque Verde.
He was killed over by a little church on Pima, West of Swan. That was an absolute
shocker...
