I miss having the parade downtown! Seemed to lose some "class" and
local importance when they relocated it down south! I got to be in it
back in elementary school... it was such a big deal back then. That
time I marched with my youth group and it was still downtown! Then I
got to be in it again around 1995 when I worked for Target stores
after it moved to the Rodeo grounds area.
My question is why does it seem that every year it rains or is really
cold?!?!?!
Another question is why do they schedule that the same days as the
Accenture match play? I mean, I guess it attracts a different crowd,
but we go for months without any big events, then February is packed!
Kind of like the super bowl and fedex golf tourney in Phoenix the same
weekend I guess! When it rains it pours!
