Re: Regarding restaurants

Steve Q.

Hi,

Yes, it was COffee Dan's. I've been wracking my brain trying to
remember, thinking it was Don's or Dan's or Mr. Don's or Daniel's. I
was going to contact my brother and ask him.

Thanks for posting it.

I remember that restaurant in Penney's. I went there with my mom.
There was also a small restaurant inside what is now Macy's on the
west side, first floor. You had to walk through the womens department
to get to it and there were windows that looked out onto the parking
lot outside.

Does anyone remember the name of the restaurant at El Con Mall that
was in the back in between Dave Bloom & Sons and the Drugstore? The
side walk went past it to get to the Levy's Dept store.

Also, who remembers the little restaurant on Broadway near Craycroft
called "Woof Woofs"? It was just east of the church that's next to
Mervyn's. The building is still there, but I can't think of what's in
there right now. Anyway, I remember going in there with my family.
There were cartoon murals of dogs on the walls. and everything was
done in a pink and brown color.

Speaking of restaurants in stores, who remembers the restaurant in

our children there. They enjoyed it as much as we did. The
waitresses there were fantabulous.
