Once the recall petition is approved, proponents will have 160 days to collect 580,000 signatures from registered voters in Los Angeles County. So, stay tuned for updates on petitions – we will keep you posted.

In the meantime, here's what the Notice of Intention for Recall said:

"Since being elected, Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascon has abandoned crime victims and their families. Gascon has disregarded the rule of law and weakened lawful sentencing requirements for the most violent criminals, including murderers, armed robbers, and rapists.
?
"George Gascon’s new policies treat career and repeat violent offenders as if they had never committed a crime, ignoring public safety laws approved by the people. Gascon has even reduced sentences on hate crimes, gun crimes, and gang crimes.

"On behalf of crime victims and their families and in the interest of public safety, this notice of intention to recall George Gascon as Los Angeles District Attorney is submitted."

The Council Thrift Shop is closing. Tbey have enormous rent but..the homeless are ruined their business. Thefts. Graffiti,? feces, and break ins from the roof.? Banana Republic is closing down.? Soon the entire block will be vacant. It is so depressing and sad. This week on my block which is usually very quiet there were two incidents of criminal activity which led to police involvement.? The Mall has been practically vacant of humanity. I wonder how this is going to end. Is it really possible the elites want the middle class to be destroyed? I feel like a stranger in a strange land.?

I was at a meeting tonight where this guy, Yuval Ron, who is starting a group to address Crime and Safety in Stuydio City. Looking into having private patrol, writing letters to our “officials”, having a meeting with the Studio City NC, etc. Frist meeting wasn’t too bad but tonight’s meeting was filled with Homeless Advocates!! They want to start a “community refrigerator”, have cleanups, believe these are our “neighbors”? and not are all mentally ill or drug addicts!!i I was called a liar when I spoke on these issues, saying the homeless were not from here but from elsewhere and more. I will not be giving information that I get from LAPD regarding this issue only to be shut down and called a liar. ? It has turned into a housing now group…they want more housing for these people and use empty hotels to put them up in…told them about Project Room Key and they poo-poo’d my comments.
