Today, the Supreme Court of the United States decided 9-0 that it was perfectly fine for a Catholic foster child adoption agency to?not place children in the homes of gay couples. Even the leftist of the left voted in favor of this ruling, which smacked the city of Philadelphia upside the head, possibly marking the beginning of the end of government overreach at all levels. Governor Recall Update: Kiley might run!
Greetings all: Just a quick note to let you know some good news:? First, according to Assemblyman Kevin Kiley, the recall for governor could happen as early as September or as late as November.? The date has not yet been set.? Second, while it appears that Rick Grinell?could run for the top spot, there's no guarantee that he will, in which case Kiley has?finally indicated his interest in running.? Politically and practically, Grinell has the organizational and financial support, but for my money, Kevin Kiley is the only man who has actually done something about the problems plaguing California.? I can't say why Encino wasn't included, but having lived there for 30 years until I moved to Valley Village, my guess would be that the element that has taken over that neighborhood is not particularly civic minded.? They've allowed Encino to fall into serious disrepair. Also, there's a lot of absentee landlord business there: everything from Burbank to Balboa to Lindley to Ventura is flooded with non-English-speaking and low income renters.? The feral human population is burgeoning, using the planters on Ventura Blvd.as their toilets. What you?do? see in Encino are lower class establishments, like Ross Dress for Less, Chik-a-Filet, Norm's, Target and lots of signs in other languages. All the upscale stores were gone before the hoax.
