Question on edgelist to matrix

If one converts an edgelist to a matrix, the rows and columns (nodes/actors) with all zero cells are eliminated from the produced matrix. ?what is the easiest?way to repopulate those absent?rows and columns to make up the whole original?matrix? ?so far I have been doing it by hand.? Is there an automated way in UCINet? Thanks much.
