Thank you that helped me think about SNA and spatial analysis which led to thinking about SNA and GIS which led me to searches on those topics, A fair amount of work has been done in areas such as epidemiology/disease research using both and I assume this is an important part of what the big tech companies are now doing. I was just curious why the distance tool was in UCINET as I did not see how it linked to the rest of the software.
